History of Object: This is a painting of Andersons Wharf, at the foot of High Street and Bay Farm Island Bridge. Anderson owned an old scow boat which he carried vegetables, fruit, and all forms of produce to San Francisco in the early days of Alameda. Picture of Alameda Flats in 1886.
