Description: Red colored heavy cotton sign, in flag form, with bold stenciled lettering (in silver) stating "Loop Lumber-Alameda." Sign supported & suspended by metal hanger sewn in upper seam. The flag is pristine, without corrosion or smudges.
Size: L-16 1/2 x W-15 inches.
History of Object: Red danger flag originally attached to piles of hauled lumber, Loop Lumber Yard, foot of Broadway & Clement. The site was in 1994 occupied by a Lucky Store, thereafter a Rite-aid, and currently (2021) a Nob Hill Foods store.
The donor purchased this object in an on-line auction, prior history unknown.
