Back button tufted. Arched top rail surmounted by carved cresting with central motif of flowers flanked by leaves. Flowers (roses) and leaves appear to be hand carved. Size: H-35 inches, W-19 inches, D-15 inches. History of Object: Mid-Victorian chairs from the farmhouse of P. A. McDonell, pioneer of Bay Farm Island. Note: Not original upholstery.
