Description: 3 matching side chairs, walnut frames, with upholstered seat & back (patterned rose colored silk brocade). Back button tufted. Arched top rail surmounted by carved cresting with central motif of flowers flanked by leaves. Flowers (roses) and leaves appear to be hand carved.
Size: H-35 inches, W-19 inches, D-15 inches.
History of Object:
Mid-Victorian chairs from the farmhouse of P. A. McDonell, pioneer of Bay Farm Island.
