HER FIRST HUSBAND, W W CHIPMAN, WAS THE CO-FOUNDER OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. HER SECOND HUSBAND, SENATOR JOHN DWINELLE, WAS AN ILLUSTRIOUS POLITICIAN, ETC.
