7/9/2020 MvL: label on back: 92.7.1 When a child in Alameda, California,(I went through grammar and graduated from Alameda High in 1933) and this picture is a $ketch of the Alaska Packers, that belonged to an old neighbor woman. She was a very old lady and had been one of the first stewardess on these old sailing ships, When I was about 12 she gave me this. I remembered seeing these old sailing Ships tied up in Alameda Estuary for years until they were finaly dismantled and sold. My father bought some oak tongue and groove wood to panel the walls of our bathroom from these. This was used in a house he was building for us at 1354 Court Street, Alameda, Right accross the street from the side of Lincoln Grammar School.
