Natural wood stays on top and sides. Brass manufacturer's seal on top of lid stating. "Henry Likly & Co.-Makers." Size: W-20 X D-17 X H-20 inches. History of Object: Traveling trunk originally owned by Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Haslett, old-time residents of Alameda. The Haslett family lived at 1427 San Antonio Avenue (present site of Franklin School). Oliver, brother of Samuel M. (1605 Clinton Ave.), was the son of Samuel Haslett, founder of the Haslett Warehouses (storage & drayage), S.F.
