The exterior of the box is cover in a brown fabric. Size: L-5.25 x W-1.75 inches. History of Object: A presentation sterling silver salt set that came from the residence of the Charles Martin family at 1419 Mound St., Alameda. It was most likely originally the property of this home's first owner, Captain Charles H. Lessig, and it was among the contents of this home purchased by Charles Martin.
