History of Object: Documents found in City Hall attic prior to renovations. Original tab had text: ‘Miscellaneous City Planning’, however, appears to be mostly holding documents relating to the League of California Municipalities, and Wm. J. Locke, previously City Attorney, was executive Secretary of the organization. According to 18-16, it was customary for the yearly convention to coincide with a conference of California Health Officers. Other topics discussed include a gasoline tax; and a legal protection against fraudulent injury lawsuits (18-32). 18-14 shows that Mr. Locke was summarily dismissed by the Board under - in his opinion - questionable circumstances. 18-15 describes correspondence relating to switching charges increase from the Alameda Belt Line.
Includes City Manager R.M. Bryant’s tentative budget for 1931-1932.
