Softbound booklets with cover design featuring an image of a warrior, kneeling on one knee, and drawing a bow and arrow, with bold caption, "The Arrow".
They are for: February 1905 (brown type on tan paper), B: March 1905 (orange type on tan paper); C: April 1905 (green type on tan paper); D. May 1905 (red type on tan paper); E. September 1905 (black type on tan paper); F. September 1906 (black type on brown paper); G. October 1906 (black type on olive paper); all are stamped with 'Alameda' and 'Alameda Free Library'.
Sizes: from L 9-3/4" to L 10", x W 10"
History:
Editions of a publication entitled, "The Arrow" published monthly by the Mastick Grammar School. The booklets have stories and articles written by the students, and advertisements for local businesses of the time. These were duplicates in the collection of the library.
