Description: An oil painting on canvas of a seascape with a masted ship in the background. Signed “H. Melville Fisher" in the lower left corner. It is in a contemporary pale gray frame of wood with an off-white canvas liner. The frame is accentuated in gold.
Size: W-36 x L-33 inches.
History of Object: A signed oil painting by Hugo Melville Fisher (1878-1946), a son of Hugo Anton Fisher (1854-1916). Hugo Melville Fisher was the brother of the noted Illustrator Harrison Fisher.
