Description: A vase-shaped mortar supported by a circular shaped base. It has a removable cast pestle that culminates in two ball shaped ends to two different sizes.
The base has cast lettering stating: "Los Angeles".
Sizes (pestle): L-8 1/2 in., mold cast; (mortar); H-5 in. X diam: 5 1/4 in.
History of Object: Items acquired from Delbert Lloyd, a lineman for the Alameda Bureau of Electricity for some 37 years; he resided at 1225 Walnut St.
