14 K gold graduation pin. The initials A.H.S., with small loop at the base of the H., supporting "09". Reverse side has the engraved initials A.R., and what appears to be S. & Co., & 14 K. (The pin has a safety catch).
Size: one half inch.
History of Object: Graduation pin, Alameda High School, 1909, of Anita Rhodes (married name Neper). The Rhodes family came to Alameda in 1892.
