History of Object:
Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, etc. compiled by Mary Frances "Mammie" Thornton, born S.F. Sept 29, 1870, brought to Alameda by her parents in 1875. She was the daughter of Abel Thornton, pioneer farmer of the East End.
