It has been varnished. SIZE: 44 1/2" long by 65" wide. HISTORY OF OBJECT: Official map of Alameda County, California, dated 1900 and published by the Tribune Publishing Company. The map includes the City of Alameda and shows the route of the steam train into Alameda and the old ferry mole. Gives an accurate record of the railroad from San Leandro and Oakland into Alameda and the location of the mole. ACQUIRED FROM: Chris K. Freeman, Originally from the collection of Helen Freeman and donated by her son (Chris K. Freeman). DATE: August 18, 1984
