History of Object: images from Woodstock School Classes, which includes two childhood images of actor Tom Hanks (Thomas Jeffrey Hanks, b. July 9, 1956), in 1964 and 1965. Hanks was born in Concord, and grew up in various locations around the Bay Area, depending on the career of his father, Amos Hanks, who was an itinerant cook.
The family - father Amos Hanks, stepmother Frances Wong, and Tom - lived in a houseboat, 2394 Mariner Square Dr., C1, at the Barnhill Marina, from 1973 to 1976. The houseboat was constructed in 1973 and for sale in 2018.
There were also three step-sisters.
