Description:
Chinese or Japanese fan of white raw silk with silk embroidered design of birds and flowers. Guard and spokes with pierced design with what appears to be sandalwood. Fan is stored in lower portion of its original cardboard box covered in pale blue fabric.
Size: L - 8 3/4 inches.
History of Object: Fan used by Adeline T. Cox as a young married woman. Accompanying history in her handwriting attached, when she was 80 or 90 years old.
