One side has Uncle Sam's hand holding a stars and stripes coffee cup surrounded by the message: "WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS IS A GOOD 10¢ CUP OF COFFEE. Sambo's has it." The other side of the tokens shows the Sambo and tiger logo, and reads: "GOOD FOR A 10¢ CUP OF COFFEE AT Sambo's ANYWHERE". And just below this along the bottom edge is imprinted "ALAMEDA". Round token. Size: 1 1/2 in. diam. History of Object: Wooden advertising tokens designated for the specific use by the Alameda Sambo's Restaurant.
