History of Object: Contents of a folder found in the attic of City Hall in the 1990s. This folder contains miscellaneous documents mostly relating to the Recreation and Parks: Bleachers for the baseball field at Washington Park, including a letter from Alaska Packers Vice President and General Manager Tichenor on Packers stationery, to B. Ray Fritz, City Manager (1936); Scouts wanting a municipal camp (1934); continuation of May Festivals (1933); Quote for city-paid lights at the various parks by, and on stationery of, Ansel’s Electric, 1401 Park Street (1931); Programs (3) for 1951 Flag Day; Program for 1936 Spring Festival; Note of appreciation for the 1936 Spring Festival from Howard’s, 1410 Park Street, to Mayor Roebke; quote from Edwards Manufacturing Co., Cincinnati, for a traffic lane markers to Neil B. Pierson, City Manager (1931), and invoice from Alameda Aluminum Foundry, 2021 Clement Ave., for same; quote for installing lights on tennis courts from Scott-Buttner, Oakland / S.F.
