Interior lined with green colored patterned paper (pattern consisting of stripes). Cover secured by a partial lock which appears to be nickel plated iron. (Part of which is missing). Size: L - 13 3/4 x W - 9 1/4 inches. History of Object: Writing case or portfolio that originally belonged to Lucinda Mann McKim an ancestor of Olive Turner Toye, Mother of Adeline Toye Cox. It was found among the possessions of Mrs. Toye following her death. Acquired from: Estate of Adeline T. Cox Date: 7-12-1993
