History of Object: Collection of Newspapers, each of which include front-page reference to the Jet Plane which crashed into the Tahoe Apartments building, 1814 Central Ave, on the evening of February 7, 1973. The resulting fire spread to three adjacent buildings. The final death toll was 11, which included the pilot, and 40 people were injured. One person tried to use the disaster to stage his death. The address is not currently in use.
