History of Object: Naval Air Station, Alameda, illustrated yearbook for 1954. This copy belonged to Castor Nielsen, one of the first employees at the Naval Air Station in 1940. He was a personnel supervisor of the overhaul and repair department at the time of retirement. A resident of Alameda from 1926 to 1976 and the father of the donor.
