Signed and dated to the right of the title: 'Alameda, Aug 26th 1895, W. R. Poyzer, City Engnr' and handwritten addition in ink on the left of the title: 'Adopted by the Board of Trustees August 26th 1875, Attest: City Clerk Pro Tem'. Showing 'William' Street, from Pacific, to Cypress, to Spruce, to Brush, and finally, Mape Streets.

History of Object: Map found in the attic of City Hall prior to remodeling to offices in the 1990s, apparently derived from a folder labeled '18' and relabeled '343'.
