Description: Ornate lithographic Certificate lithographic form with text in black ink, with imprinted seal, and a red cross, dated, in faded ink, with three signatures, 1 barely visible, in a narrow wooden frame. Backing paper has a sticker attached to it, with handwriting in blue ballpoint identifying the donors.

Red Cross Life Membership awarded Richard Lea, signed by Division Manager Willoughby G. Walling, Secretary Stockton Axson and President Woodrow Wilson, dated February 25, 1919.
Richard Lea (1875-1974) was a machinist for the Alaska Packers Association, and holds a patent for a fish-beheading machine (US Patent 1,643,504). He moved with his wife's extended family (McCarthy, Quinn, and Lea families) into neighboring houses at 1254 and 1258 Park Avenue around 1915.
