Object: Clock, ship's
Description: Circular brass case, with brass trimmed lens. The frame around the lens has incised lettering stating: "Southern Pacific Company... STMR Alameda". On the reverse side of the clock has serial numbers 34378 and Chelsea Clock Co. It has a nickel plated key, serial number R75282.
Size: It measures 5½" across and 2½" thick.
History of Object: It was found in a second hand store in Oakland several years ago and purchased by the donor. It was a ship's clock from the ferryboat “Alameda”.
