Description. It is black iron. It has a brass plate with the serial numbers 73472 Model G The Protectograph. Manufactured by G. W. Todd, and Company. Rochester, New York, U. S.A. It has a celluloid dial which is numbered with a denomination of five-hundred through ten thousand. It has a handle when pressed downward, imprints information regarding check limits.
Size: Base is 6½"X5 3/4, base to handle 6½.
History of Object: This check protectograph was used in the Alameda City Hall about 1920 for check protection.
