Chestnut brown colored wig. Head marked "Made in Germany" & embossed Turtle mark. Size: L-14 inches. History of Object: Childhood doll of Eleanor Clark, member of an old time Alameda family. 6/18/2020 MvL: current label on top of case: DOLL DISPLAY Dolls manufactured in the early 1900's in Germany. Some have composition or kid leather bodies and also bisque heads and glass eyes. Many have their original clothing. These dolls belonged to children of various early Alameda families.
