Description: Shield-shaped commemorative plaque with gold-colored plate of metal affixed to wooden base. Metal plate in shape follows lines of plaque with margin of 5/8 inch left as border. Metal plate has brass colored disc placed in top center (disc is 11 inch in diameter) that is decorated with numerous figures in various athletic poses.
Metal plate on plaque is inscribed: Otto Rittler, Honoring Lifetime Membership Alameda Athletic Association May 14, 1975. Metal loop for hanging is affixed to back of plaque. Size at widest points: length 8 1/8" x width 6".
History of Object: Commemorative plaque that grants lifetime membership to the Alameda Athletic Association that was presented to Otto Rittler in 1975.
