Collection of various reports, including Monthly and Annual Principal's Reports from the various schools, forms submitted to the Bureau of Education, Department of the Interior, Washington D.C., salary lists, forecasts and lists of graduates, etc. Various sizes.
This collection has been in the possession of the museum for a long time, and various documents of similar nature have been cataloged separately previously. For details, see list.

List:
A: 14 Principals' Reports Alameda Evening Commercial High School, 1916-1921, forms on pink paper, with blue or black type; oldest ones filled in by hand in black ink, later ones filled in by typewriter. Some include sample Certificates, and/or lists of Teachers and their salaries.
B: 2 pages of a pink form with table on one side, titled 'Principal's October Report to the State Board of Education and the County Superintendent of Schools'. The table has a typed list of teachers, including Paul Vigness and Otto Rittler, dated 1924.
C. Legal size forms with blanks on white paper with black type, most filled in in ink by hand, some typewritten, titled 'Principal's Annual Report Alameda Public Schools, collected with staples and/or paperclips, most years reports for the various schools preceded by a summary form. Dating 1913-1926.
D. Letter, formerly folded in 12, on stationery and signed by John C. Paltridge, Alameda City Schools stationery, dated Jan 24, 1921, addressed to Mr. Milliken, handwritten in black ink, about 4 candidates to be added at the last moment to the list of graduates for the Evening Elementary School for the January (‘next Friday’) graduation ceremony (Lionel Clark, Gussie Behlow, Walter Edwards, Edward Phillip Cotton). Has penciled dates and calculation, presumably the receipt of the letter (28/1921) and the ordering of the printed certificates (‘Ordered of Daniels 1/26/21).
E. Annual report forms submitted (or copies thereof) to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Education, Statistical Division, for the years 1893-1894; 1895-1896; 1898-1899; 1900-1901; 1901-1902; 1902-1903; 1904-1905 (all 1 page, two sides); 1914-1915 (2 page, 4-sided form, with cover page).
F. Group of forecast of promotion / graduation reports, in varying combinations of hand-drawn, and mimeographed tables, and entries handwritten or typed, for the various schools, for January 1922, for August 1923, December 1925, and December 1926.
G. Copy of typed statements for the California Board of Education, Department of Vocational Education, titled ‘Report Form for Instruction Provided for Authorized Part-time General Continuation Classes.’ Appears to be enrollment statistics for vocational classes, one form submitted by R. A. Shafer - agent for part-time education, the other by George C. Thompson, principal, both for the Alameda High School, 1923.
H. forms with tables of various figures, on various colored paper, for 1910-1913: Alameda High School Principal's Report for Term 1910-1911, 2 sheets, folded in two, on pink paper; single page (double-sided) Principal's reports on blue paper for 1910-1911 for Everett, Longfellow, Haight, Lincoln, Porter, and Alameda Evening Schools; folded sheets on blue paper, gathered with a brad, for Mastick, Longfellow, Everett, Washington, Porter, Lincoln, and Haight Schools, for 1911-1912, followed by a summary report signed by William Paden; and a Principal's Report, on bright yellow paper, marked 'Duplicate' in pencil, for Aug 26, 1912 to June 20, 1913.
I. Single-sheet report, titled 'Summary of Schools - Weights And Measurements', dated Aug. 27-31, 1923, a report of the percentages of kids that were underweight, given per school and divided in boys and girls, submitted or weighed by Ada Smith, School Nurse.
J. Typed reports of Teachers and Salaries, Evening High School or Evening Commercial School, between 1919 and 1921.
K. Preliminary lists of candidates for graduation for the various schools, 1920-1927, some typed, some typed on forms. Some with corrected lists.
