This in turn supports a red silk ribbon upon which is attached a pendant (sterling silver) depicting St. George slaying the dragon. On the reverse side is engraved "Edith McGinnis, June 1961." Size: L-4 1/4 inches. History of Object: Officer’s medal Daughters of St. George Lodge. The Alameda branch (Golden Poppy) was founded in 1922 and disbanded in 1976.
