Head has incised lettering "Bebe Elite 90-185, 10 Germany, No. 5". Sleepy eyes (open and close) Blond mohair wig. Clothing, original pink cotton batiste gown (lace on hem and sleeves) and matching ruffled bonnet. Bonnet tied with pale satin ribbon. Underskirt, white batiste, trimmed in lace with white embroidery. Second slip made of white cotton flannel, pink crochet trim. Matching pink trim on white cotton underpants. Booties, wool worsted hand crocheted, off white, pale pink crocheted trim with drawstring & tassels. Size: 20 inches in length. History of Object: Doll, circa 1916, of Jean Lorraine Wilson (born, Feb 13, 1916, Alameda Hospital, died June 14, 1983), daughter of Sydney & Myrtle Wilson. Myrtle Wilson was the daughter of Bertrand L. Fisher (of Combs & Fisher, Park Street merchants). Acquired from: Robert A. Wilson (brother of Jean Lorraine Wilson) Date: July 20, 1983

Many have their original clothing. These dolls belonged to children of various early Alameda families.
