DESCRIPTION: Has silk grosgrain ribbon band, wide brim with no milliner's label.
HISTORY OF OBJECT: Hat of Fredika E., wife of Walter A. Cundall. Mr. and Mrs. Cundall came to Alameda about 1904 from Kansas City, Missouri. They had a house built on Laurel Street which was completed in 1905 (847 Laurel). Mr. Cundall was a travelling salesman. Also, Delancy and Randlett were the builders at their home on Laurel. Family still occupies the house.
