History of Object:
Itinerary booklet prepared for Dr. Edith, Jeanette, and Mildred Meyers for a trip they took to New Zealand in 1961. The first 4 pages reflect a personalized typed itinerary, prepared by the New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau, starting with arrival from Melbourne, Australia, on 17 November 1961 and ending December 9. The rest of the booklet is a printed guidebook, except for the last page, which appears to be a handwritten recipe for 'Cheese Tinalo for 12'. This is a companion booklet to Jeanette's copy, cataloged as 95.56.6. It is not known how the donor came into possession of this booklet.
This copy includes an unused luggage tag, and a kiwi pin, attached to a certificate, reflecting the election of Miss M. Meyers as life member of the Kiwi Club of New Zealand, membership of which is conferred to those who have visited New Zealand.
