Leather coverlet in the form of a file fabricated of black-colored leather. Interior has incised caption, “William H. Cox” in gold-colored type. Size: L3-1/4" x W4-3/4”.
History:
Pocket coverlet which housed the calling cards of William H. Cox. Mr. Cox was the father-in-law of the late-Adelaide Toye Cox. The Cox family came to Alameda in the early-1900s.
