Description: Figurine of cast plaster-of-Paris egg in the act of cracking revealing a child (in Easter costume) composed of wax (face, arms & legs of pink colored wax). The face has inset glass eyes. When the head is removed it reveals an empty cavity in the egg where candy was stored. Unmarked, but appears to be of German manufacture.
History of Object: Rare glass eyed Easter decoration that belonged to Eleanor Clark (as a child), member of an old time Alameda family.
