(a) 2-page timetable printed in red ink, with Varney Speed Lines printed in bold face together with a single-prop airplane design to appear on front cover when timetable is folded, and
(b) a 1-page schedule and fare timetable for Varney Speed Lines Air Ferries, also in red ink in bold face printing, with a seaplane design.
Size: (a): L-5 1/2 x W-6 1/2; (b): L-4 1/4 x W-2 1/2 in.
History of Object: Two timetables from Varney Speed Lines, headquartered at present site of the NAS. The 2-page timetable has the flight schedules to and from Los Angeles and Sacramento. The single page timetable is the San Francisco schedule. Both timetables were effective March 1, 1932.
