The table top has a routed ogee edge attached to a serpentine apron. The shape of this table is referred to as a "turtle top" in the furniture trade. Size: L-51” x W-39” x H-18 1/2” History of Object: This table was purchased by the Meyers Sisters at an antique store in Savannah, GA. possibly in the 1950's at a cost of $120.00. As was the practice of the time, this table was cut down to function as a coffee table. The donor is a descendent of H.H. Meyers' brother.
