The documents in this folder pertain to efforts to redirect the State Government and military plans to have a second Bay Crossing start at fifth street, destroying neighborhoods. Includes reports regarding San Francisco traffic issues; a magazine reflecting an idea to have multiple bridges converge on Yerba Buena Island; ownership of houses in line to be demolished; correspondence between City Manager Carl Froerer and various governmental organizations; plans (maps) for a tube to connect to the Cypress structure; suggestions about refinancing the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge; Cost estimates for various options.
