History of Object: This is a book of the original "Mother Goose Songs" edited by Mrs. Partington, 1874. It contains the true story of Mother Goose, who was a real person, born in Boston in the 1700's. The book belonged to Herbert D. Clark and was read and reread by him during his early life.
