Description: A large family bible, about 2000 pages in length, with embossed leather covers. It has steel engraved and lithographed illustrations, maps, histories of various Christian denominations and pocket pages for 'carte de visite' photos. The 'family records' pages have several death entries.

History of Object: A bible presented to "My daughter Carrie and her Family" per an inscription by "E. McLean, Christmas, 1878".
