History of Object: A black and white print depicting a proposed a “Great Pacific and Atlantic Bay Bridge” planned to connect the harbor of San Francisco with Alameda County. This bridge would begin in Alameda and cross over to the Hunter’s Point area of San Francisco. This lithographic print was made by Britton & Ray, prominent lithographers in San Francisco.
