This glass ink well font with opening for ink pen, has "post office department" embossed on the glass font. On the collar it says "Sengbusch, Self-closing ink stand, Company, Milwaukee, Wisc. Made in U. S. A. Last patent Jan, 15, 1907"
History of Object: This ink stand was used in one of the first post offices in Alameda.
