History of Object: War Ration Books One and Two, of James Nelson and Dorothy May Nelson, of 2152 San Jose Ave. James Zahn Nelson, born in 1909 in Oakland, was foreman and Engineer at EBMUD in Oakland; in 1941, after being widowed, he married Dorothy May, and moved to Alameda.
