(a) Oblong-shaped, dark green-colored metal iron box with attached handle on lid. When open, box has upper divided section. H7” x W16”.
Contents: (b) 2 circular-shaped metal cans. Lid has lithographic caption, “Max Factor's Theatrical Face Powder". (c) 4 circular-shaped cardboard containers. Lid has attached paper label, “Max Factor Dry Rouge”, in black, gold and red-colored type. D2-1/2”. (d) Oblong-shaped ivory colored celluloid brush with natural hair bristles. L5-1/2”. Makeup box with contents used for theatrical productions in the auditorium of the Alameda High School prior to its abandonment as a high school by the Alameda Unified School District. Presently run by the Alameda Historic High School Foundation.
