Object: Doll house
Description: Two story doll house constructed of plywood which has been covered with lithographed paper representing bricks, windows and other various exterior house details. It has two chimneys with two flues each. The exterior coloring, blue roof, walls are in cream, red and pale green. The exterior is also varnished. It has a balcony and roofed verandah. The balustrade of the balcony and porch consists of cut-out tin work. It has a front and balcony door that opens on miniature hinges. The right and left facades open on hinges to expose the interior. Interior: right side consists of kitchen (first floor), bedroom (second floor). On left side is the parlor (first floor) and bedroom (2nd floor). Interior has original doll house furniture and miniature wallpaper especially made for it. Two chimney and front stairs are detachable.
History of Object: Believed to have originally been owned by the granddaughters of Mr. Sevening, Pres. Bank of Alameda.
