Fraternal metal, 3 separate parts joined by brass links. Central badge with pin contains motif of outstretched eagle with the initials F.O.E, Alameda 1076, this suspends a brass ribbon stating "San Francisco, 1911"; in turn this is attached to a circular medal, heading "Alameda's Beach", and depicts bathers with buildings in the distance.
Size: 4 inches in length.
History of Object: Fraternal badge (medal) belonging to Charles Follrath, a member of Company G, Alameda National Guard, and with his family early residents of Alameda. He died in 1913.
