History of object: Receipt from Vosburgh Hardware at 2317 Santa Clara. The company operated at 1433 Park St until at least 1941. Merchant stamps was a program from the 1920s to 1989. This type of receipt dates from early printing cash registers, before newer printing methods switched to laser printing on chemically treated paper.
Found tucked in a donated (duplicate) Alameda High School yearbook.
