The base consists of a central scroll-sawn pedestal with three protruding legs. The legs and the apron surrounding the cushion seat is encised decorated wood. The stool is upholstered in brown colored leatherette. Size: Seat is 12 1/2 x 17; H-19 1/2 inches. History of Object: A piano stool found in the stairwell closet and which was used as a telephone chair by the Meyers family. Acquired from: Meyers estate. Date: 01/09/13
