History of Object: Milk caps for bottles issued daily by the Carlton Creamery, 417 Taylor Avenue, Alameda. The business was purchased in the early 1900's by Frank Perkins and operated from a barn located in the rear yard of 417 Taylor Avenue (Mr. Perkins’ home). The business closed in 1923. Frank was born in San Francisco in 1876, the son of James Perkins, pioneer resident of the West End, Alameda.
