Description: Traveling trunk covered in imitation black colored leather trimmed in metal strips accentuated with nailheads. Original paper traveling labels or stickers attached to exterior. Metal seal on lid top stating "Manufactured by C. A. Malm & Co." (Malm was a resident of Alameda).
Size: H-22 X W-26 1/2 X D-19 inches.
History of Object: Trunk originally owned by Doris Haslett Goodman, and used by her when she performed in traveling stock companies. Doris, born in Alameda, was the daughter of the late M/M Samuel M. Haslett, 1605 Clinton Avenue.
