Cover design consisting of a young girl sewing. Pale blue colored silk interior lining. Ornate embossed (stamped) catch.

History of Object: Sewing or jewel box that belonged to Mabel, wife of George Blom.
Mabel, born in Texas, came to Alameda about 1920, and was a teller at the Citizen's Bank, Park Street.
